Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Basque side in La Liga two and a half years since relocating to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
Recent Activities
Barcelona held a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. The club said approval is being pursued by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
