It has been confirmed that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their iconic roles in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

Lawrence and Hutcherson will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their roles will likely occur in a flash-forward sequence, considering the main film series concluded with their characters living in peace.

• Ralph Fiennes takes on the part of a earlier incarnation of the calculating President Snow.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for a Golden Globe for the film Die My Love. Josh Hutcherson recently appeared in the hit horror film Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
